Join Ithaca SEPTA to stay informed, connected, and involved in special education conversations in our community.
Membership is open to caregivers, educators, students, and community members.
Annual dues are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Use code JOINFREE if finances are a barrier.
Joining SEPTA gives you decision‑making power and leadership eligibility. Help us make a difference
Membership
- Vote on decisions, budgets, and elections
- Hold elected leadership roles
- Shape priorities and advocacy
- Connect with caregivers, staff, and resources
- Receive SEPTA communications
- Participate in SEPTA training opportunities
- Have access to SEPTA member‑only resources
- Represent SEPTA in official votes or as an official delegate at council and state PTA meetings
- Strengthen representation when meeting with school and district leaders or legislators
Non-Members Can
- Attend SEPTA meetings and events
- Volunteer to assist with events and activities
- Help run or support informal groups and contribute ideas
- Be on the email list
Non-Members Can Not
- Vote on SEPTA motions, budgets, officer elections, or bylaws
- Hold elected officer positions
- Represent SEPTA in official votes or as an official delegate at council/state SEPTA meetings
- Access member‑only benefits, training, or resources reserved for members
